Grainne Mc Guire, Staff Nurse

I would like to nominate Grainne in recognition of the outstanding care she provided during my recent 2-week hospitalisation. From the moment she began working in the ward, she stood out as an exceptional nurse whose professionalism, compassion and dedication made a profound impact. Grainne maintained the highest standard of nursing without showing fatigue or distraction. She was efficient in everything that she did, managing her workload with calm and confidence. No patient was overlooked. Her clinical skills are outstanding; she was always on time and responsive in any situation. She also showed empathy and understanding. Her calm, positive presence eased fear on difficult days, and she extended that empathy to everyone. Her skill, compassion, and commitment to patients show she is a credit to the profession and deserves to be celebrated.
