Grace made me take a look at my inner self and start making changes for the good and I have tried to model her professionalism.
For seven days I was in the East Tower. This is where I would be introduced to Grace. The second night in the room was a huge blessing as whatever I needed was finally being addressed and taken care of by Grace. I was grateful to be under her care. Being employed in the medical field, I do understand that their jobs are hard and demanding just like my job transporting medical specimens. Grace would actually force me to try and take a walk around the whole floor for once by the end of the second day. When you wanted to know something and it needed attention, Grace would do her best to figure it out. You press the call light she was there for you. You had trouble going to the toilet, she got hold of the doctor to get the right meds to me. This was a huge improvement to my recovery and getting finally home. It also happened that she would care for me on the final day of my stay here. Just take a look at my medical record notes when she cared for me, it was detailed to the point that you would need to make a diagnosis of a patient. She made me take a look at my inner self and start making changes for the good and I have tried to model her professionalism. This has helped me be a better person now and I do not know what to do without her care. I owe it to her that I am alive for my birthday coming up. I have made huge lifestyle changes upon discharge and thus it has made some pathway. In closing, I would make things short and simple. Grace really does fit all the qualifications in receiving such an award. I just would like to make sure she got something in return from one of her best patients to date. To make this really special I have dedicated my birthdate as my nomination date.
