There are caregivers & then there are rare individuals like Nurse Grace whose empathy, dedication & vigilance elevate the very definition of nursing. 

During my husband's, M, stay in the rehab unit, Grace did not just care for him, but she championed his healing journey in a way that left a deep impact on both of us. 

From the very beginning, she stood out.  She took time to truly understand M – not just his medical needs, but who he is as a person. She learned his routines, his concerns, & that’s what brought him comfort. She walks in with a warm & calming presence that made M feel safe, heard & respected.

Even on days that he wasn’t feeling his best, she managed to lift his spirits. 
 
For all she has done for M, and for the countless patients & families lucky enough to cross her path, I wholeheartedly nominate Nurse Grace for this recognition.
