Our team orchestrated fundraising efforts to help a patient's family member pay for the cost of a specialized wheelchair for their son.
On discharge, the team gave her an envelope with money needed to acquire the wheelchair. She was both tearful and overjoyed at the team's demonstration of kindness. The amount of giving and small instances of kindness and charity are what make our teams so special here at GLH.
Further, this happened when the manager was on vacation and again speaks to the team's unity in supporting those in need.
