Glenda shows compassion to each and every patient that comes through the clinic door by creating a welcoming and warm atmosphere. She listens intently to what the patients are saying, laughs along with them, and cries when they have grief to share. Glenda treats the Menahga patients like family; she knows their first names and their children's names.

One of the patients had recently lost her husband, and Glenda sat with her, hugged her, and held her hand while the patient cried. When the patient was ready, Glenda finished rooming her for the provider in her calming voice and made her comfortable, offering her some water and a blanket. Glenda respects all the patients who come to the clinic as well as those she works with.
