Gladys Shabangu, RN
Although I have completed a few efforts at written recognition, none is more deserving than Gladys.
Gladys completed the medical aspects of my intake and then daily care. I also had the opportunity to observe her overall approach to patient care. She is a recognized “Super Star” performer in all duties seen from the patient side. Many patients echoed my praise about her hard work, consistent courtesy, and observance of safety protocols.
She served as a calming influence to patients in distress without pandering and a motivator to other staff to stay focused under pressure. Gladys is a credit to the Ascension organization, and I hope she has opportunities to train and lead others.
