My husband recently had cataract surgery at the Saratoga Surgical Center and received great care. His nurse went above and beyond caring for him. From the time she called his name in the lobby until he was wheeled away at discharge, she treated him with the utmost respect and compassion. He was very nervous to undergo surgery.

Recently, he encountered some problems at another hospital that left him with some complications. This nurse explained the process with extreme expertise, and when I mentioned that he is a hard IV stick, she did not dismiss my concerns. She left for a moment and returned with the vein finder gadget to ensure she could get his IV on the first try.

As a retired nurse of 35 years myself, I can say that this nurse is an exemplary young nurse. Her personality and heart of gold made a big difference in my husband's experience, and mine as well. I have no doubts that she will continue to be an incredible addition to the nursing profession. He will be returning in a few short weeks for his second cataract surgery, and we plan on requesting her to be his nurse again.
