Geralyn exemplifies the highest standard of nurse leadership through her unwavering dedication to staff satisfaction, patient safety, and the overall patient experience of care. Geralyn’s leadership is grounded in a genuine commitment to creating a supportive and empowering environment for her team.
She understands that when nurses feel valued and supported, they provide the best care possible. She fosters a culture where open communication, mutual respect, and professional excellence thrive. Her ability to listen, mentor, and advocate for her staff has significantly elevated morale and team cohesion across our unit. A champion of career development, Geralyn is deeply invested in the professional growth of every nurse who reports to her. She actively encourages continuing education, certification, and advancement opportunities—often working one-on-one with staff to create tailored growth plans. Her leadership has led to several team members achieving certifications, advanced degrees, etc.
