I had surgery: cystectomy, dissection, and pelvic lymph node. I have been admitted here before and have stayed a week one time and about four days the other time. The staff is nice and professional, most staff are friendly, but I had nurse Genevie for two nights right after this huge procedure, and she was/ is an amazing person/nurse.

I have been in so much pain and discomfort, and Genevie has gone above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and over-the-top caring, not just for me, but also for my girlfriend, who was/is here with me. (I have not gone home yet.) She has gone above and beyond with her, too. It is so nice to have a nurse communicate in simple language and to have someone who listens. Honestly, I have been a bit difficult to deal with since I have so much pain, nausea, hunger, you name it. Not once in two entire shifts did she seem irritated or not caring. I do not normally write on things like these, but I want you to know what a valuable nurse you have and how fortunate both my girlfriend and I feel to have had her for two whole nights. She was truly a blessing.
