I have been a patient here for three weeks. I probably saw every Nurse and PCA on this floor. I got sick with pneumonia, a virus in my lungs. I have been stuck in bed and can't get out. My oxygen level drops as soon as I put my feet on the ground. We are working on that one day at a time. I was a very independent woman and did everything for myself and others before I got sick. So this is a very difficult thing for me to even ask for help. I am so grateful, thankful, and blessed for all of the people on this floor. All of the other nurses have been wonderful, but Gail Munasque has stood out amongst the rest. She always walks into the room with a big smile, ready to go. She's always asking how I'm doing and starts checking to make sure if my bed needs changing or any of that jazz. She is a very hard worker and goes above and beyond her duties. She's very knowledgeable and will explain everything she is going to do. She's always making sure I am okay and don't need anything. There are more examples, but you get the picture. She is a wonderful human in a world that needs more people like her.
