My husband was transferred here on life support, and I had no idea what to expect. I had so many questions, and Gabby explained what I needed to know in a way that I could understand. She reminded me that it is a marathon, not a sprint. I had so many feelings and questions, and Gabby provided support every time I needed it.

Gabby spent time with my husband in the room instead of monitoring from afar. I appreciated how she talked to him even though he was in a medically induced coma. She also connected us with the Reinhart Guest house so we could rest and take care of ourselves to be ready to one day take care of him. Gabby carried the same level of grace, compassion, and support throughout my husband’s stay in CVICU.
