Gabi took the very best care of our daughter L. She enabled her to continue to live her life even when she was dying, liaising with nurses in London so L could keep having adventures even when she was on IV meds. Gabi didn’t just give L the best medical care, but was also there for us as a family, advising us on meds and hunting out somewhere that would allow L to donate her body despite only being 17. Gabi made our last few weeks with L incredible ones, through her care, her patience, and her willingness to think outside the box. L would have hated being confined to home, but Gabi’s care meant L didn’t need to be. She went the extra mile every day for L, allowing her to truly live until the very end. The love that she showed us all at the time and continues to show us now will always be remembered.
