I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional care we received from Freddie during our visit to the ER on New Year’s Eve. Let’s be honest—no one wants to find themselves in the ER, especially on such a significant night, but that’s exactly where we ended up at 10:30 PM. From the very first phone call to walking through the doors, the entire staff was outstanding. Everyone we encountered was kind, efficient, and reassuring, which made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. Some of our smooth experiences may have been good timing, as the ER wasn’t overcrowded when we arrived, but I could tell that this team is incredible, regardless. The triage team got us settled quickly, and that’s when Freddie made his first appearance. He escorted us to our room and checked my son’s vitals with a level of kindness and attentiveness that immediately put us at ease. When the doctor shared the disappointing news that he wasn’t confident in treating my son’s thumb wound, I felt a wave of distress. Freddie seemed to sense this and handled the moment with such sensitivity and positivity. He worked diligently to slow the bleeding and kept my son calm throughout the process. Eventually, Dr. P was able to step in and successfully cauterize the wound. Freddie then carefully bandaged everything and made sure my son understood how to care for his thumb at home. I can only imagine the pressures of working in the ER, but Freddie’s care made all the difference to us. We never felt rushed or dismissed, even though my son’s injury wasn’t at all life-threatening. Instead, we were treated like our concerns truly mattered—a level of care that we haven’t always experienced at other hospitals. Thank you, Freddie, for your professionalism, kindness, and compassion. You made a difficult situation so much easier, and we are incredibly grateful for your care!
