In addition to her administrative role as chief nursing officer – where her nominators praised her work in breaking down walls between therapists and nurses, Fran’s work with patients inspires her colleagues and helps everyone feel at ease. “Most of Fran’s time is spent on the unit, not in her office,” said CEO Emily Wiltenmuth, who joined two other nominators in celebrating Fran. “Watching Fran interact with our patients is a master class in compassion.
