Our Fall 2025 recipient regularly displayed the core nursing attributes of kindness, compassion, equity, commitment, and advocacy. The student was chosen to receive this award by all the faculty and meets the award criteria in the following ways:

Her interactions with patients were consistently warm and caring, providing needed care fairly and impartially to all. She has a professional, friendly, and positive demeanor, demonstrating generous and compassionate care to all patients. She often expressed great concern for her patients who had difficult circumstances due to their illnesses. Our recipient is committed to providing safe care for her patients. She advocated for her patients to receive the best possible care in all her rotations. This student consistently was a role model for other students and nurses. Staff and patients consistently report she has a professional demeanor and provides exemplary care.

This student has grown into a truly Extraordinary Nursing Student. I personally cannot wait to see how far she goes. Congratulations, Floreana Ramadan.
