The evening that I was admitted to this care unit, following an incredibly stressful day, including time in ED, I was kindly greeted by Feifei. She would become my favorite nurse throughout my 2-week stay. She always showed true compassion and willingness to serve without hesitation.

Feifei was always caring, knowledgeable, and thorough. The care I required included management of my wound, a chronic condition, which involved dressing changes and many changes of undergarments and scrubs. This demanded more runs to the supplies, etc., than most patients would require.

Feifei always showed compassion and a desire to help whenever I needed, often stopping her record-keeping or other work to assist me. I never felt like I was ‘bothering’ her, and she never made me feel like a nuisance. Her love for nursing and her love for patients shine in her attitude and smile. She also sweetly found some warm clothes for me to wear while I was here!

Feifei made one of the most difficult times of my life a much more manageable experience. Please commend Feifei as an example of what a ‘good nurse’ should be like. Many other nurses were also extremely helpful and kind. I will always be thankful for all of the staff, especially Feifei. Thank you!
