Please know that the following is written with much genuineness.
It is indeed a pleasure to express much gratitude for the expertise, reasoned decision-making, dedication, and compassion demonstrated by Evan during my husband’s recent hospitalization.
His command of technical skills and awareness of the whole person- body, mind, and spirit- is obvious. I was so impressed by the respect he has by his team by all health and allied health professionals. Even the student who shadowed him said she was so proud to be chosen to be his student because Evan’s reputation precedes him.
Please also know that during a crisis event, it was so impressive how Evan took charge, was calm yet very focused, with reasoned thought.
I would like to add that our family was very touched that at the end of his shifts he came to see my husband, held his hand, and said to him, “It has been a privilege to care for you today”.
I recently retired after 40+ years in neuroscience and have worked with many health and allied health specialists. Evan is truly an extraordinary nurse!
