I feel so fortunate to have such a competent and compassionate nurse on our team.
Eunsoo was nominated by her location director for providing phenomenal patient care for more than three years with Thrive SPC. She is like so many of our nurse teammates, quietly and humbly showing up, day in and day out, embodying all the qualities of a stellar private duty nurse! She has sharp assessment skills, is an excellent communicator, and provides superior documentation. She always updates her supervisors and care teams with pertinent information and is extremely respectful of professional boundaries, which is such a challenge when working in patient homes. In three years, Eunsoo has missed only three shifts – because she had eye surgery!

Although the above-named attributes are enough to qualify her for recognition, Eunsoo’s excellence goes deeper. Her primary patient’s mom was hospitalized unexpectedly, and the emergency backup caregiver was not available to take the patient. Eunsoo contacted the office and helped coordinate 24/7 care over a weekend to avoid the patient being placed outside the home. Not only did she cover an additional shift herself, but she also drafted a list of patient likes and dislikes to help nurses unfamiliar with the patient.

Here’s what her location director has to say about Eunsoo: “Every time I speak with Eunsoo, I leave with the impression: What a wonderful person! I feel so fortunate to have such a competent and compassionate nurse on our team. Eunsoo gives every patient and their family the quality care they deserve, and she consistently goes above and beyond to meet patient needs. In the last two years, we've been doing an employee of the month award in Albuquerque, Eunsoo has won twice. Based on her professionalism and commitment to providing superior, personalized care, she could win every month! Eunsoo is an invaluable asset to Thrive SPC and her patients.”
