One day, he gave my husband a great bath, washed him very well, and even changed his sheets out completely for him, and that became 'the norm.'
We do not know Ethan personally; this was the first time we met him at the hospital. There is something very special about this nurse; he went above and beyond his job duties. I never saw Ethan sitting down. He was always headed up and down the hallway.
My husband had a stroke and was brought to this hospital. Ethan was his nurse for the majority of our stay at Parkwest. We were there for over a week. My husband, E, was unable to use his right arm or leg at all; he also had trouble with one of his lungs, which gave him a terrible cough. My husband had a setback and wasn't even able to respond to us.

This didn't stop Ethan from talking to him every time he entered the room. Ethan always showed him so much respect and told him what he was doing to him before he did it, and why he was doing it.

One day, he gave my husband a great bath, washed him very well, and even changed his sheets out completely for him, and that became 'the norm.' I have never seen a nurse take such good care of my family anywhere! Not only that, Ethan never failed to ask my daughters and me if we needed anything. He was so patient with my husband, who was a little grouchy a lot of the time. Ethan also took the time to explain and answer any questions that we had.

Ethan really cares about others, and that's apparent. I was very impressed with him, and he deserves a special award. Ethan is an extraordinary nurse! We appreciate him so much. Thank you, Ethan!
