It is the little things that add up and can make a huge impact! Erin was very welcoming from the initial contact through my entire experience at the hospital. She brought me several warm blankets, and each time put the new warm one close to my body for optimal comfort. She took my vitals and promptly removed the blood pressure cuff and oxygen finger sensor when the readings were complete, whereas sometimes they are left on and can be uncomfortable.

She very masterfully inserted my IV without a trace of insertion or pain. She even propped a towel in the most comfortable position for my IV arm to rest on. I was in the hospital again for a second surgery, but the experience was not a positive one as far as the pre- and post-nursing; I am not one to dwell on negative experiences, but this one bad encounter made me appreciate Erin even more!

As I was saying my prayers for a positive third surgery, I was hoping to have Erin as my nurse. Erin Grzelak has shown outstanding compassion, kindness, and skill as a nurse. As an educator, I work with the public and encounter many people, and I can tell when someone is going beyond the call of duty with genuine happiness to help!
