I would like to recognize Erin for the extraordinary care, advocacy, and compassion she showed our family during a very stressful time. Due to an early hospital admission for pre-eclampsia, we unfortunately missed all of our scheduled birth classes. Erin immediately stepped in and went above and beyond. She organized professionals from lactation and other departments to come directly to our room and provide us with personalized crash courses.

On top of that, she personally walked us through what to expect during birth. Because of her initiative, we felt informed and prepared despite our circumstances. Erin continued to support us in practical and meaningful ways, including taking the time to do a car seat check with us, ensuring we were ready to safely bring our daughter home.

In the NICU, Erin was a true advocate for our family. She strongly supported and encouraged protective breastfeeding, making sure our wishes were heard and respected. She didn’t just provide clinical care; she gave our daughter extra personal attention and compassion, which meant the world to us during such a vulnerable time. Above all, Erin is simply the best nurse we have ever had. Her dedication, kindness, and willingness to go far beyond what is expected set her apart. We are incredibly grateful for her and will never forget the impact she had on our family.
