Erin is ECHN's Clinical Nurse Manager for the Wound Care and Podiatry Clinic. She plays a key role in managing the daily patient flow in the Wound Care department, where they see upwards of 30 patients a day.

Erin excels at communicating with practitioners and Wound RNs. She reviews patient charts to identify candidates who would benefit from Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) therapy and initiates the authorization process with Restorix.

Erin has developed strong working relationships with the Nurse Managers on the floors, as well as with Nursing Education, Quality, and Patient Financial Services departments. In addition, due to the absence of a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (WOCN), Erin has taken on the responsibility of seeing inpatient Wound consults.

While doing so, she also teaches any floor RN interested in learning basic wound care. Erin is an invaluable resource and asset to ECHN, consistently upholding our Service and Core Values in all of her work.
