I came in for surgery to get a carpal tunnel release and a cubital tunnel release. Coming in, I was very nervous as I had heard that the nerve block they would have to do was very painful. From the minute I got into my room, Erika was going out of her way to make sure that both my mom, who had come with me, and I were very comfortable and warm. She made sure to go through every plan and detail, so nothing was a surprise. She was so sweet and talked to me about all things, crafts, and life, to get my mind off it. She made me laugh so much, even through the block. I have never had a nurse with this amazing bedside manner.
