My father was a patient in the Cath and then admitted overnight after an AICD placement. My dad had been in very good health up until October when he had his heart attack. Our experiences at Condell have been wonderful, and although this time was very scary and not entirely smooth, we still received excellent care. One individual I would like to recognize is Erich. Right from the start, I admired the way he interacted with my dad. He was very professional yet calming and funny. I knew he was in great hands. The procedure went well, and when they brought my dad back to the room, he was not waking up well from the sedation. Erich remained calm and explained things clearly. He stayed as long as he could to help. Then he even came back later to check on my dad. My dad was really having a rough time, so Erich stopped and asked if he could pray with him. I was totally in awe. I am so grateful he was there that day. Erich truly met not only the physical and medical needs for my dad, but he also recognized and met the spiritual and emotional needs.
