When a staff member was going through a very difficult time, as a leader, Erica took the initiative to make sure that the staff member's well-being was healthy before returning to work. Her leadership extends far beyond expectations and promotes the health of patients and staff alike. Erica consistently goes out of her way to make new graduate nurses feel confident and takes extra time to show extraordinary kindness to them. She is a fierce advocate for her patients’ rights and ensures that the unit operates in a smooth and effective manner. She consistently demonstrates leadership through service to others and goes out of her way to ensure every patient feels safe and cared for in our unit.
