Erica was recognized by both the patient's daughter and sister on different occasions, commending her for her compassionate care during the patient's and family's difficult time. Erica helped transition the patient off the ventilator to comfort care. The family was especially thankful that they were able to talk to their family member in the last moments and say their goodbyes. The family mentioned being thankful for having Erica by their side along the way many times.
