Erica's performance is stellar, and she has a lot of the so-called good catches resulting in saving the lives of patients.
I want to recognize the exceptional nursing skills and qualities contributing to the overall functioning and improvement of patient care administration shown by Erica. This nurse is highly qualified for the said award. The nurse's performance is stellar, and has a lot of the so-called good catches resulting in saving the lives of patients.
Two weeks ago, the nurse had a patient who, if not for the persistent intervention, would have been discharged with a catastrophic outcome. Long story short, the patient was about to be discharged, but because of the nurse high caliber assessment, the nurse insisted to the doctor that the patient was manifesting signs of sepsis, hence needing admission. True enough, the patient was septic, was admitted, and stayed in the hospital for a few days.
Just recently, the nurse had a post op patient from IR who was supposed to be admitted to a regular-based floor. Based on the nurse's keen assessment, the patient needed a high level of care, thus needed to be admitted to the ICU. The nurse communicated this to the resident but refused to heed the nurse's suggestion. The patient was admitted to the ward but eventually transferred to the ICU and stayed there for a few days.
These are just some instances where the nurse demonstrated excellent patient assessment and care. I have been working with this nurse for more than 2 years, and I am a witness to the nurse's unwavering commitment and dedication to serving our Veterans with integrity, respect, and compassion. The nurse is also a great team worker, thus supporting the team and enhancing our work environment. Needless to say, the nurse deserves to be recognized for an outstanding performance in taking care of our Veterans.
