Erica Ginyard, BSN RN

Erica was a true angel during my labor/delivery at Nash UNC. She was caring, gentle, and so personable. I felt that I had known her my whole life after just a few hours under her care. She responded quickly, listened, and treated me with the best care. Erica was set to get off work at 7 am Sunday morning. She brought in my new nurse, introduced her, and said goodbyes. Before leaving, she put in for an epidural for me. The epidural was administered around 7:30, and things got pretty crazy very quickly. My blood pressure dropped, my baby's heart rate dropped, and I dilated from 3.5 to 10 cm in a matter of minutes. I had no idea, but Erica heard of the complications in my room, changed out of her daily clothes back into her scrubs, and came to help and check on me and my baby girl. If that doesn’t scream dedicated, I don’t know what does! My husband and I are so very thankful for her and her kindness. She even visited us upstairs the next night and brought a gift for our new baby and our oldest baby girl. Thank you, Erica. We love you!
