Eric gave his cell phone number to my wife so that she could check in on me.
I was recently a patient for six days. I had Eric for two nights. Eric was outstanding and listed below are some of his exemplary actions:

He arranged my night medication and night vital signs to be done simultaneously so I was only awakened once during the entire evening, rather than every 2 hours.

I was in severe pain after extensive neck surgery with a chyle leak. He made sure my medication came every 4 hours before it wore off.

He actually came in early to review his patients’ charts before he started his shift. That way he could hit the ground running and had more time for each patient.

He came in at the beginning of his shift and did a fairly thorough evaluation with auscultation of the lungs, heart, and abdomen. He examined my neck with the buildup of fluid, and together we tried to drain some of the fluid into the collection tube. He explained my condition.

He gave his cell phone number to my wife so that she could check in on me. He also agreed to call her if there was any change in my condition. They did talk several times throughout the night. When we saw Eric the next night or two my wife and I knew I was in very capable hands and we both felt so relieved.
