Eric does an exceptional job as our leader; he goes above and beyond his call to make sure the unit keeps a great balance. One day after our patient coded, we could not find the patient's wedding ring, and the wife said she really needed this for closure. Eric took the time to go looking for the patient’s wedding ring in all of the dirty linen bags and FOUND THAT RING FOR his wife! Such a heart-wrenching scenario.

Eric is the unit director of the ortho/neuro unit. To list everything he does for the staff would take up entirely too much space! He goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for his team! He is always offering praise to all of his team members to show his support and gratitude. He does not act as though he is "above" us, but will get down in the trenches of patient care at the drop of a hat! He is involved in every aspect of patient care - from case management to nurse aides - whatever it takes to provide the absolute best care & outcome for the patients we care for! THANK YOU, Eric!!

Eric is always extremely supportive of his team. When I was preparing to take the NCLEX, he was always checking on me and making sure I had everything I needed for success. The team and Eric stuck by me every moment and allowed me to become who I am as a nurse. I hope I can become like each of them. They show patients, family members, and staff care, compassion, and kindness every day.
