I usually spend every hour at the hospital; however, with Emma, I was very comfortable leaving for a few hours.
Excellent service in nursing care is hard to get. This nurse deserves the notoriety that this award gives her.

This nurse went above and beyond the line of duty to help me when she knew I had been to hell, back, and had been over-medicated. She was so kind, and even though it was late, she was tired, and I was as well. I was frustrated and had gone through 54 hits of radiation to my lips, tongue, and jaws, and then given an overdose of meds. At any rate, this young lady showed, as I said, an above eye for care and more than. I’ve overseen in empathy!

Emma was a fantastic nurse. She attended to my daughters every need while she was a patient in the Oncology Department. Emma answered all our questions and found answers when she did not know them. I usually spend every hour at the hospital; however, with Emma, I was very comfortable leaving for a few hours. Emma was extremely knowledgeable about many aspects of our daughter’s condition. Emma worked diligently to help our daughter's condition improve. Having spent many, many days in the hospital with my daughter, I have had the opportunity to interact with the hospital staff. I have only written a handful of letters for exceptional nurses. Emma is an asset to Elhart General Hospital and its many patients she cares for. Thank you, Emma, for the care and empathy you showed our daughter during her stay at Elkhart Hospital.
