My husband had hernia surgery. When he was placed in the PACU, Emily was his nurse. Emily was the friendliest, most helpful, and kindest person. Of course, she completed all of her tasks to take care of him, but he and I both noticed that she really went above and beyond to make both of us comfortable. She explained absolutely every monitor, medicine, and answered our questions even when we probably asked the questions more than once!

What really stood out to us was our conversations outside of the medical things. Emily talked with us, and we never felt like we were interrupting her work or annoying her. She asked us a lot about our family and interests, and she was even sweet when we shared pictures of our granddaughter. We really felt like she genuinely cared, and she made my husband's time in the PACU enjoyable. What an outstanding sweetheart nurse Emily is!
