I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care I received from nurse Emily Chapman during my stay at Lankenau Hospital. I was hospitalized following cardiac surgery, and Emily's kindness, professionalism, and dedication made a world of difference in my recovery. From the moment she started caring for me, Emily went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, addressing my needs with patience and compassion. Her attentiveness and reassuring demeanor not only helped ease my anxiety but also gave my family great peace of mind during a challenging time. It is clear that Emily is deeply committed to her patients, bringing both skill and heart to her work. We are incredibly grateful for her care, and we wanted to make sure her efforts are recognized. Emily was my husband’s nurse on his last day in the hospital after TAVR surgery and pacemaker implant. She was super attentive and took him for walks when requested, kept us informed while we waited all day for discharge, did a very detailed job with his discharge orders and answered every question we had, and also gave me her work number if I had difficulty when we got home setting up the pacemaker device that transmits info. She was professional, efficient, caring, and compassionate. A wonderful nurse!!

Emily went above and beyond for my mother-in-law on hospice. Despite being nonverbal, she treated her like a human, speaking to her gently, informing her of what she was doing, and being SO tuned into her needs. She was so compassionate and honestly took better care of her than we ever could have.

I had my atrial fibrillation surgery yesterday at Lankenau and was very fortunate to have Emily as the main member of my before-and-after care team.  She was amazing, compassionate, attentive, fun to talk to, responsive, etc..  Also, I left my watch, and she ran out to the car to bring it to me.
