Going into our second night in the hospital, my daughters and I were exhausted. Emily came on as our night nurse, and I immediately felt relieved. She clearly is very competent and professional, but also very friendly and easy to talk to. She was extremely informed of what was going on with her right away, and I felt confident and at ease enough for the first time to really allow myself to fall asleep. She identified that my daughter was experiencing pain with her first IV placement and did an excellent job in quickly placing a new one. When she was in the room later, she was always very quiet and efficient, briefing me on the important stuff when asked. She is truly a credit to her profession.
