I'm excited to nominate Emilee Robinson for her amazing contributions to direct care and her unwavering commitment to family-centered care. Emilee truly lives and breathes the core values of our NCCS Department's integrity, teamwork, compassion, accountability, and professionalism, and she's become such a valuable part of our team.

In her role, Emilee always goes the extra mile to make sure patients and their families feel heard, supported, and empowered. Her dedication to family-centered care shines through in how she personalizes her approach to each family's unique needs, offering not just excellent nursing care but also emotional support and guidance through challenging treatments. This thoughtful approach builds trust, improves outcomes, and makes a real difference in the care experience.

Emilee is the definition of teamwork. She's always there for her colleagues, whether it's helping with tough cases or mentoring new nurses. Her collaborative spirit strengthens our whole team and ensures we're all working together to provide the best care possible. Emilee's professionalism, combined with her kindness and compassion, creates an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. She brings a positive energy that inspires others and helps make our department a supportive and caring place to work.

Outside of direct care, Emilee also leads by example in Shared Governance as CCU's Supporting Practice and Management Council (SPM) chair. Through this role, she's created opportunities for nurses to volunteer and give back to the CHOP community. Emilee's leadership empowers her peers to speak up, share ideas, and play an active role in shaping patient care. Her passion for improving outcomes and supporting the nursing profession is truly inspiring.
