I came to the ED this evening with major anxiety and depression. This evening, I had walked up to Bobby at the TL desk and pulled him aside to address my feelings and how low-key we could keep my admission private from others if I were to check myself in. Bobby swiftly rushed me into a room and pulled Tim and Ian G to triage me in the room.

Tim was making sure that he was able to do everything in his power to keep this admission as private as possible, which I thank them deeply for doing. I cannot thank Mary enough for stepping up to being my nurse. Out of all the nurses that work in the ED, Mary is the only one that I see who is the calmest and whom I see as genuine when it comes to patients with mental health complaints.

Her demeanor is soothing and made me feel more like a friend than my nurse. She checked up on me throughout my admission and made me feel not forgotten about, since they had placed me in the orange zone in room 44, which is so secluded from the rest of the ED. Even though I did not want to check myself, I am glad for my treatment team, which was very important to me since I work daily with these people.

Special thanks to Mary for picking me as a patient. I couldn't have picked a better nurse to help with the hurdle I am having. Thank you to Bobby, Tim, and Ian for acting swiftly, keeping my triage so private that the rest of the coworkers couldn't see me.
