Ms. Elsa and Ms. Fallon are the perfect examples of what a great nurse should be. For example, whenever I called for the nurse to bring me something for pain, the two of them were in my room in less than two minutes. Not once did they let me suffer from feeling any amount of pain. Ms. Elsa was willing to assist me with changing my clothes and cleaning me up from the accident that I had that all women suffer from. Ms. Fallon was also willing to participate when this incident occurred. Both of them continued to express how they were here to help me and assist me with any issues that I may have. They were very prompt and timely whenever I needed help walking to the restroom, cleaning my hands, and helping me get back in bed. Ms. Elsa gave me strong words of encouragement while continuing to express to me that I was going to be okay and my health was going to continue to improve. I honestly must say that Ms. Elsa and Ms. Fallon are the very first two nurses that moved so quickly whenever I called for them. I can’t express enough how important it was for the two of them to not let me as their patient not suffer from any amount of pain that I have been having. They also continued to check on me throughout the night. Ms. Elsa along with Ms. Fallon continue to communicate with me in a positive manner. The amount of empathy and compassion that was shown to me as a patient made me feel that my needs were being addressed and that I was being heard whenever I communicated to them how I was feeling. They are excellent team players, communicators, problem solvers, pay attention to detail, advocacy partners on behalf of their patients, caring and loving when attending to not just myself but all of the people that I saw them interact with. They are what I would like to call not only essential healthcare professionals but also healthcare professional heroes.
