Elizabeth provided extraordinary care to my dad after he was taken to the ICU after suffering from cardiac arrest. She consistently went above and beyond to ensure that our family knew what was going on as well as providing care for my dad. In times when we were nervous or unsure, she wasn’t and knew just what to say to explain things and provide comfort.

Elizabeth was extremely patient with the numerous visitors who stopped by, but always put what was best for my dad. First, ensuring he had time to rest and time alone with my mom. In addition to caring for my dad, Elizabeth went out of her way to talk with my brother to take steps to stay on top of his heart health.

Thank you so much for all you did for my family!

Elizabeth has always been an amazing nurse since starting at Lourdes. In this particular case, she stood out tremendously. We had a very critical patient in the unit who was not only challenging as a nurse, but also emotionally. Elizabeth worked hard with team members to provide excellent care and advocate for the patient. On the evening of this particular shift, the patient became an all-hands-on-deck situation.

Elizabeth did not think twice about staying over and helping. She helped with patient care, phone calls, and with emotional support to the family in such a hard situation. She ended up staying almost two hours past her scheduled shift. We couldn’t have made it without her!!

Elizabeth was all around amazing. She was very informative and kept us updated every step of the way. When I felt unsure or scared, she reassured me and often checked directly with the doctor for specific answers. She was the calm in the middle of our storm! So thankful for the care my husband received from Elizabeth.

Since my dad was moved to the ICU, Elizabeth was very good at communicating and providing excellent care the entire time. She went above and beyond for my mom, being calm and reassuring during such a traumatic event.
