Elizabeth has been an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived with our 4.5-pound baby girl, she went above and beyond to make us feel seen, heard, understood, and welcomed. She was so kind and patient and would check in on us and help us be as comfortable as possible. She even pricked my daughter's foot for blood draw while I could continue to cuddle her in the chair. She listened to me when I vented that I was struggling to advocate for what my daughter needed, and she always had empathy and care.
You can tell it's not just a job to her. Elizabeth is passionate and caring and skilled and honest at what she does, and she takes great pride in everything she does. She turned our 3-day NICU stay into the best stay it could be and helped empower us as the parents. We always looked forward to having her as our nurse. She's funny, a great listener, asked if we needed food or supplies, and would promptly get them, and was personable. She didn't just check the boxes and keep going on. She actually cares about the work she does and takes it next level by also listening to the parents.
I am so grateful we had her for our stay at Children's Hospital Minneapolis. She may be younger, but her passion and expertise far exceed her age/years. She's an exceptional nurse. Thank you, Elizabeth, for all you did to love and care for our baby. With so much gratitude.
