For one patient recovering from a complex medical condition, Elizabeth Landor's care extended beyond the bedside to include support for his family.
The patient recalled that his daughter was so worried about his complex recovery that she stayed overnight in his hospital room, unwilling to leave his side. After taking the time to meet with and assure her that he would be well cared for overnight, Elizabeth gave her the peace of mind to finally go home.
The patient recognized Elizabeth for the trust she built through clear communication, compassion, and attentive care.
"She reassured my daughter so she could finally go home and not worry about me,” the patient wrote.
