Eleanor "Ellie" is the consummate example of compassion, respect and empathy. She is planning to enter the field of nursing as an Oncology Nurse. She is currently having her practicum experiences at UMMC on the Oncology unit.Eleanor is best described by her preceptor as having a patient-focused and family-centered approach to care. She is an active, engaged and a collaborative student and classmate.  Eleanor has excelled in the program, and continues to exhibit excellent faculty and patient communication and a professional and considerate demeanor.
