I am writing to nominate Eboni, RN, for recognition due to the exceptional guidance, support, and professionalism she demonstrated during my Foundations of Nursing clinical rotation. As this was my first-ever clinical experience, I entered the setting with nerves, limited confidence, and a strong desire to learn. Eboni played a pivotal role in shaping this formative part of my nursing education, and I am deeply grateful for the impact she had on my growth.

From the very beginning, Eboni created a learning environment that was welcoming, patient, and supportive. She took the time to teach me essential nursing skills, including tracheostomy care, wound care, and a wide range of routine and more complex patient-care tasks. Her explanations were always clear and thorough, and she consistently encouraged me. There were countless things she taught me, far too many to list, but each one contributed meaningfully to my development as a student nurse.

One of the greatest gifts Eboni gave me was confidence. She recognized when I was ready to try a skill, guided me step-by-step, and then trusted me enough to let me perform hands-on care under her supervision. This balance of support and independence allowed me to grow in my student nursing career. She helped ease my first clinical nerves and transformed what could have been an overwhelming experience into one that felt exciting, achievable, and empowering.

Eboni exemplifies what it means to be a nurse, educator, and patient advocate. Her kindness, professionalism, and dedication not only benefited our patients but also shaped my identity as a future nurse. I feel incredibly fortunate to have learned from her.

 She made a profound difference in my first clinical experience, and I will forever be grateful and hold on to the many things she taught me.
