Eben exemplifies the attributes of a DAISY Nurse Leader. Eben worked alongside many of his staff in the OR before taking the leadership role. As PVH has continued to grow and expand, the OR has been a central part of this. Eben was not sure about taking on the challenge of leadership, and we had a lot of conversations about this and the attributes we saw in him for leadership. Eben accepted the role in 2024 and has led the department through a period of very rapid growth and expansion. He has excelled with his leadership skills and works collaboratively with his staff and surgeons to make sure patients receive the best care possible. He has stepped up to every challenge given to him over the last year, and there have been many! He has made tough decisions and handled difficult situations, all with ease. Many of his peers have commented on his work in this leadership role.
