I came to floor 3 to meet the kindest, calmest, most patient caregiver possible. I could hardly breathe and was nauseous. Dylan talked me through the most miserable night of my life. He did everything possible to comfort me. I was afraid and helpless. He treated [me] with dignity and patience. Thank you, Dylan.

[On a phone conversation with this patient, she added the following words about Dylan: “Just like there are teachers and educators, so there are nurses and caregivers. The teacher and nurse are educated and do their jobs well, but the educator and caregiver give of themselves for the sake of the student and patient. I would say Dylan is not just a nurse; he is a caregiver. He gave so much kindness and care to me, and it made all the difference.”]
