Admitted with an abdominal blockage. Admitted and sent to 5C. Duncan was my receiving nurse. He made me feel welcome and made sure I was settled in properly. Checked me every hour for pain level and general condition. I felt very secure and comfortable. Throughout my stay, he was always an outstanding provider - an asset to the VA staff. Took care of me. Always respectful, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He is a shining star of my visit. Thanks!
