Dorinda was absolutely amazing during our visit to deliver our baby. I was in labor for 28 hours and pushed for 6 of those hours. Dorinda came in for her shift on the tail end of my labor, but her impact was incredible. She knew how badly I wanted to have a vaginal birth, and she fought for us every step of the way. Her motivational speech to help me keep pushing is something I’ll never forget.

The last hour of pushing was my most successful and intense push. She was an incredible coach during that time, even when I ended up having to have a C-section,. Dorinda was there during the pushing, during the C-section in the OR, and was with us afterwards to help take care of us. She even came the next day to visit our room and ask how we were doing. She really went above and beyond, and we are forever grateful to have had her as our nurse and advocate during our stay.
