Dorcas took care of me every night I was in room 3122, from when I arrived after surgery, when I was apparently very difficult to wake, until the night before I was discharged, when I had lost a lot of blood. She was always attentive, always caring, always kind. She never wavered in my care and was always consistent.

As mentioned, from being difficult to arouse after surgery to the blood loss, the morning before I was discharged, three days later. She was quick and confident in her care and showed the same care and kindness to my family. Her confidence and calmness during a time that was very scary for my family and me helped to keep us all calm and focused on recovery. It would not surprise me if Dorcas has been nominated for many, many of these DAISY Awards. May God bless her as she continues to bless others.
