Donelle has taken excellent care of my father. She is professional, compassionate, patient, and extremely thorough. She has coordinated his care with a care team in Michigan and my father's Emergency insurance plan for travel arrangements. She has been extremely meticulous with her details throughout the process.

For example, Donelle caught an error in the private flight nurses' travel arrangement. The flight nurse had scheduled to drive my Dad to Fort Lauderdale, about an 8-hour drive, to catch a plane to Detroit, MI. The private nurse had a 5-hour window from picking my dad up and catching the plane. They never would have made it, and my dad's care would have been compromised. Especially since he requires oxygen for travel.

Donelle caught the error, contacted the flight nurse and travel company, suggested the correct airport, and handled the situation. She also caught the error that the flight nurse thought my Dad was in Miramar and not Miramar Beach. Her attention to detail is amazing, and she kept me informed every step of the way.

I have never experienced such prompt, attentive care with such expertise. What an asset Donelle is to this hospital. I was never worried about my Dad's care, knowing that Donelle was on the case.

This was an extremely complex medical situation and very emotional for me, and she explained everything to my Dad and me. We were both unfamiliar with dialysis treatment and getting care back home, and Donelle even found a solution for my Dad when he arrived back home.

I am truly grateful for everything she has done. She deserves this award, and I cannot tell you how happy and excited I am to share my positive experience with Donelle, I could write pages upon pages.
