DJ is probably one of the kindest, most patient, and understanding people I have ever met. He has been absolutely amazing with my dad and my family. My dad is here for kidney failure and all of the problems that have piled on top.

He takes his time with my dad and makes sure that we understand everything that is happening. My sister and I asked if he could answer a question for us, and he stayed late, without our knowledge, and answered every question and concern we had.

My dad frequently had “accidents” due to laxatives after being constipated for over a week, and the nurse went in to help clean him up multiple times, sometimes within a few minutes of each other, always treating my dad with kindness and respect and making sure he kept his dignity.

I believe this nurse is everything that St. Joseph should want their employees to be. I believe that he is a credit to the nursing profession. We were absolutely blessed that he came into our lives.

DJ has been a delight to work with. He is a very personable individual. He gives you the time of day when you just need to talk.

This nurse goes above what is needed or expected for the patient. We need more like him!
