Djenny-Ann took the most horrible situation that I was going through and made it a little easier.
My nurse, Djenny-Ann Marcelin, went above and beyond for me in March, and I will never be able to thank her enough. I unfortunately suffered a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks and had a D&C scheduled. I arrived and went into labor and delivery, knowing that I wouldn’t be leaving with a baby like I did 2 years prior. I was on edge and emotionally all over the place.

Djenny-Ann came into the room and, from the moment I met her, gave me comfort and treated me with respect and dignity. She explained the process and answered all of the questions we had. She asked about my daughter and was able to lift my spirits. She walked me to the operating room and again explained what was going on. During the hustle and bustle, she held my hand as they got me ready and asked what I was going to dream about. Of course, I answered my precious baby girl.

After the procedure, she asked how my dreams were. Djenny-Ann explained what I would be feeling and went through my discharge instructions, and then asked to see pictures of my daughter. She was very patient with me as I showed her pic after pic! Djenny-Ann took the most horrible situation that I was going through and made it a little easier. I will never be able to thank her enough. Just holding my hand while I was put under was the biggest thing a nurse has ever done for me.
